Missouri recognizes a type of deed called a Beneficiary Deed. It allows real estate owners to name who they want to inherit their property after they die. If properly drafted, signed, and recorded, a beneficiary deed will allow the real estate described in the deed to pass to the named beneficiaries outside of probate. A beneficiary deed is a cost efficient way to transfer title to your property after your death without court involvement.
